Social Media Account Executive
Pay: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
Job Overview
Posted Social is seeking a driven, detail-oriented Social Media Account Executive to join our team in St. Louis. This role owns the full social media presence for a portfolio of clients — from strategy development through daily execution, performance analysis, and client communication.
You’ll be expected to think strategically, write well, manage relationships, and collaborate with our fully integrated team that includes designers, photographers, videographers, paid media, and web specialists.
This is a full-time, in-office position for someone who’s willing to take ownership, can handle the pressure of a high-output environment, and takes pride in the quality and performance of their clients’ accounts.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage comprehensive social media strategies tailored to each client’s goals, audience, and competitive landscape
- Own day-to-day execution across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn — including caption writing, content creation, scheduling, and publishing
- Serve as the primary point of contact for every client in your portfolio
- Monitor performance and adjust strategy based on what the data is actually saying
- Coordinate with designers, photographers, and videographers — assigning tasks, managing deadlines, and ensuring every asset comes together on time and on brand
- Manage community engagement across client accounts
- Collaborate cross-functionally on full-service accounts involving web, design, photo, video, and paid ads
What We’re Looking For

- Strong strategic thinking paired with the ability to execute at a high level daily
- Excellent writing skills — captions, client communication, and strategic documentation
- Comfortable owning a portfolio of clients and managing competing priorities simultaneously
- A natural communicator who can hold a client relationship with clarity and confidence
- Detail-oriented without being slow — you move fast and nothing falls through the cracks
- Collaborative instincts and a track record of working well across creative and operational teams
- Genuine understanding of social media as a performance channel, not just a content calendar
Experience & Requirements
- 2+ years of professional social media management experience
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn — both organic and how they fit into broader marketing strategy
- Experience with project management and content planning tools (Asana, Planable, Milanote, or equivalent)
- Excellent written communication skills
- Experience coordinating with creative teams and managing asset workflows
